Lofaso's interpretation of classic Italian cuisine is one of Los Angeles's most popular restaurants. Patrons describe Scopa as an indispensable local institution where Lofaso regularly serves food that is inviting genuine and incredibly satisfying. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary with sophisticated cooking techniques. But, she didn't hesitate to take extreme chances to honor her own instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and was able to transform various high-profile kitchens of Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. Lofaso created Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Through Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found a place to call home. Lofaso's creative freedom will be facilitated through this collaboration. Black Market doesn't have one particular orientation. This is the intention. One course may begin with potato chips and peppers Dill. Then it's Korean meatballs and wings. Antonia's distinctive flavors form the basis of these daring flavors. Lofaso, throughout her professional career, has evaluated her performance by the degree to which she understands her audience. She also stays in the same place she was. She has been a part of numerous television shows such as Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars and Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents have continued to be showcased in her role as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso has released her book, The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 Simple and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. The book also tells the story of how she faced challenges when she was a student at The French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea also. Lofaso believes that her successes stem from her love cooking, and she's in a position to stay on the pulse of this industry by focusing in the kitchen. With the Chefletics brand, she is revolutionizing the aesthetics of the industry, by creating clothes for the kitchen that are stylish as well as functionality.
